TORSTONE TECHNOLOGY’S MACK GILL APPOINTED CO-CHAIR OF THE FIX TRADING COMMUNITY GLOBAL POST-TRADE WORKING GROUP

Torstone Technology, a leading global provider of post-trade securities and derivatives processing, have today announced that Mack Gill — Chief Operating Officer (COO) and member of the Board of Directors — has been appointed as co-chair of the FIX Trading Community — Post-Trade Working Group.
FIX Trading Community is the non-profit, industry-driven global standards body, that is focused on the continuous development and promotion of the FIX family of standards, including the core FIX Protocol messaging language.
Its Global Post Trade Working Group is tasked with the development and maintenance of a standardised and detailed set of guidelines for a number of different asset classes and workflows.
In FIX’s Post-Trade Working Group, Mack will work alongside fellow co-chair Laurence Jones, Director of post-trade strategy company Traiana, who are a subsidiary of the CME Group.
Commenting on the appointment, Mack said:

The Post-Trade Working Group co-chair Laurence Jones said:

Mack joined Torstone Technology in 2017. As the firm’s Chief Operating Office (COO), he develops and manages Torstone’s global delivery of operations, professional services, and partnerships. Mack has over 25 years’ experience of working in capital markets technology.
Prior to Torstone, Mack was CEO of MillenniumIT, a leading trading technology company, and a subsidiary of London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG).
